Follow the instructions to update the driver. As the issue is with the driver, there are no drivers available for Windows 8. But the drivers for the device is prepared by the device manufacturer. Windows may have the driver built-in, or may inellinet have the driver files installed from the last time that you set up the device. Thank you Vijay for looking into this, I removed the device and drivers, restarted and then ran the manufacturer’s application in WinXP compatibility mode. How satisfied are you with this response?
